For those clients that utilize our routing and scheduling services, we have implemented Airtable to ease that process and make information sharing much more collaborative. This piece ties in with all of the logistics we use to set up and handle transportation.

All Student Info in one Place

School districts have their own database within our Airtable system, which houses all of the student information entered. Since this gets imported into our routing interface, the information sent our way is accurate and routing is based off of that.

This is just a small sampling of the databases we have for all of the schools and districts serviced by Metrogrid. Each school or district has their own place in our ecosystem.

 

Multiple Information References

Along with the student information, we are able to display other vital information thru tabs on different tables.

These tabs are available in every database and contain information on alternate sites, grade summaries, school references, code references, as well as district and calendar information


Customizable Views

While data entry should be done on the master view as it has all important fields, you do have the ability to create your own view for Student Data which can show information in the fields and order you like.


Automated Ticket Creation

When you make a change on Airtable for a student (Creating a new one, editing info on an existing student), those changes automatically send off a request to our helpdesk system. This way, you can make your changes and not have to worry about sending an email or making a call about a request you've already filled out


No Need for Forms

With this, there's no need to fill out the old PDF and paper forms we had for student requests. Information is there and submitted on your behalf, and you have a record not only of what is in the database, but we have access to recently made changes as well.

For those of you who like having the ability to type data into a form for new students, A separate "Form" view can be created which gives you all of the blank fields and lets you type them in as though you are filling out a form.
